MELANCHOLY PLAY was first produced by the Piven Theatre (Joyce Piven, Artistic Director) in Evanston, IL, on June 28, 2002. The production was directed by Jessica Thebus; the set design was by John Dalton, the lighting design was by Lynne Koscielniak, the costume design was by Mary Trumbour, the sound design was by Micky York and original music was composed by Gregory Hirte with additional songs by Jeffrey Weeter; the stage manager was Elizabeth Grantner.
